Nursery

Our Nursery children have been for an Autumn walk around the school grounds. They stamped through the crunchy leaves, found some empty bird nests high in the trees and found leaves of different colours and sizes.

Autumn Walk

Children made their own castles using junk, inspired by the story, ‘Jack and the beanstalk.’ We saw lots of sharing and turn taking and a great amount of resilience. Well done Nursery.

Castle building

At Nursery we are getting great at exploring our numbers.

Number fun

We have been growing plants. We planted the seeds, watered our plants, put them somewhere nice and sunny and watched them grow. We are growing beans, tomatoes, onions and many more.

In Nursery this half term, we have some caterpillars. Children have been watching them grow and change. We have been reading the story, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar.' We have loved singing our tiny caterpillar song and learning about our caterpillars using our non-fiction books.
