Thematic - Art
This week we have started doing some observational drawings. The children have been looking at some rainforest animals. The children drew the animal and then their partner critiqued their work and gave constructive feedback on how they could improve next time. Here are some examples of the children’s drawings.
Andy Warhol
During Art Week, the children learnt all about the artist Andy Warhol. They found out that he was famous for his Pop Art, where he would often take ordinary objects such as a soup can and turn them into a famous piece of art work using bright colours and repetition.
